About the Webinar

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that reproductive life planning be incorporated into each medical visit for men and women of reproductive age. A reproductive life plan is a set of personal goals about having or not having children, with steps to achieve those goals.

This second session of the Putting the QFP Recommendations into Practice Series provided strategies to help your clients think through their reproductive life plan, including example questions to ask during a visit and strategies to help clients create a reproductive life plan.

Who Should Attend

Designed for clinic managers, administrators, nurses, counselors, educators, medical assistants and other clinic support staff. This webinar was also relevant for advanced practice clinicians interested in applying the QFP recommendations to their assessment and counseling practices.

After participating in this webinar, you should be able to:

  • Discuss the purpose of the reproductive life plan in the family planning visit.
  • Integrate reproductive life planning into a family planning session in order to guide the provision of care.
