Introduction to the Quality Family Planning Recommendations eLearning

This eLearning module introduces the Providing Quality Family Planning Services: Recommendations of CDC and the U.S. Office of Population Affairs (QFP) and provides opportunities to practice the quality counseling principles. This module provides practical, evidence-informed information and strategies, as well as activities, videos, and reflection.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

• Understand the purpose of the QFP Recommendations
• Describe the scope of family planning, related preventive health, and other preventive services as outlined in the QFP
• Put into practice the quality counseling principles outlined in the QFP

The course includes two sections:

• Section 1: The Quality Family Planning Recommendations
• Section 2: Quality Counseling Principles

Time: 1.0 hour

Continuing Education: 1.0 Contact Hour
